Since I live here I'll give you the facts on why he had to put all his money on Florida.  All polling numbers showed he had no chance in any of the other previous races.  He felt that Florida would be his springboard to Super Tuesday because he still was in the top of national polling.  His brilliant team felt with early voting in Florida and his rivals focused on smaller races he could gain more recognition.  His team, soon to be former team, felt that with so many people from New York being in Florida, retiree's, 2004 election history, and National Defense being a high priority here he could easily win Florida - WRONG!  Now in Hillary's case - guess what - Giuliani's plan worked better for her than him

IMHO - Clinton and Romney win Super Tuesday.

I live in Fl also and despite him pouring all of his money and effort into one state, I still saw more of what McCain and Romney were doing on the local news. It is imperative that you start strong and hold (the free) media exposure. The media follows the leaders and they trump the multi million dollar 30 second commercial spots any day of the week.

mccane.  Mccain... McCain..MCCAIN!  Nooooo!  He is a wuss on border security, and he wants to waste more time in Iraq.  At the moment, my vote goes to Ron Paul.

Rudy was a great Mayor and did do good things for NY. . . . However he truely lacks the political savvy and character to win and become president.  As evidenced by his RESOUNDING defeat in Florida!

If I was a Giuliani supporter and gave him money to watch this implosion, I would be totally pissed!!! His whole appeal was his ability to bring America and NY back together after 9/11.  You cant keep banking on shit that happened 7 years ago assuming it'll get you elected today!  I dont think Rudy is a bad guy he just isnt a good Presidential candidate.

Guiliani was never electable as a national candidate.  He was not even someone that his own party would have ever come around to wholeheartedly supporting.  Maybe in the immediate aftermath of 9-11(?)  but not years after.  As I watched his farce of a campaign continue past the talking stage into the "my hat is in the ring" stage, I just kept thinking of the stupid attempted comeback in the mid90s by Alexis Arguello. "Okay, dude, you were once the World Featherweight Champion...terrific...but you are now over 40, WTF are you doing attempting a comeback?

Then again, all the (remaining) candidates are massively flawed, and would be considered unelectable if considered on their own merits.  Yet two of them will end up with a nomination, and each will gather more than 40% support of all ballots cast next November.  It is a Presidential campaign for the ages.

I would think it would be a very, very, VERY serious issue if the most powerful man in the world started losing his mind/memory.
The paradox is only a conflict between reality and your feeling what reality ought to be.
