After spending an excruciatingly long day trolling these forums for the up and up on the new 1.2 patch, I've decided to list everything that changed with the new patch. Considering the majority of people can't search for crap these days, I'll list stuff here (without too much bias ). Feel free to tell me other stuff to add. I'll add stuff in italics that is my own experience.

Weapons:
G3A3 (assault unlock)- accuracy improved
     for those of you who like the G3, rejoice! I really like the new G3. All that damage is worthwhile now
L85A1 (medic unlock)- damage increased
     although a small damage increase seems worthless, it now takes only 3 hits to kill a foot soldier
PKM (support unlock)- accuracy increased
     this is a huge improvement--sort of like the G3, 1.2 makes the PKM relatively accurate
SMGs - accuracy increased
     supposedly this is really good, but I haven't tried it yet
Sniper rifles- accuracy improved
     yay! The SVD, Type 95, and M95 are as accurate as the old M24, which gets a boost of its own
L96A1 (new EF sniper rifle)
     the sound...so cool! Just as accurate as the M24, but better looking and cooler sounding
     the MEC and PLA now can compete with USMC snipers- a definite improvement
FN P90 (new EF SMG)
     haven't unlocked this, but found the sight to be good but the rifle fairly inaccurate
     I would suggest sticking with other unlocks unless you ONLY play AT
G36E (SF medic unlock)- accuracy decreased
     haven't tried this yet...
LMGs- accuracy increased
     noticed that I now was being killed by a M249 SAW...when did that happen pre-1.2?
Grenade launchers- minimum arm distance
     have not tried this either yet...I have heard both that it works and that it doesn't though...
Blackhawk miniguns
     accoriding to the config files, the explosion radius is now 1/12 of its previous state

Gameplay:
Moving- no longer can bunny hop/dolphin dive/prone spam
     yes, it's true- you can't jump and shoot
     going prone after you jump is sort of possible- you just can't move afterwards (or in the jump)
     there is a delay between prones and jumps- therefore no hopping/spamming
     I found that you could still crouch repeatedly (more on this after I check it out)
     basically, you cannot left-click while in the air
     however, you can toss nades as far as you did before (remember, you just release the right button
Bugs- supposedly fixed the red/blue bug and the karkand glitch
     I have not confirmed the karkand bug, but I don't believe that is possible any more
     However, the red/blue bug still exists as confirmed by one of the people on the forums here
AA- increased seek distance, accuracy
     I have read a large number of complaints by people about the improved AA
     I have yet to use the AA much tho- was impressed by what I saw, however
Choppers/jets- lowered HP, fewer missles - i.e. generally weakened
     A large number of complaints about this too- separating the chaff from the grain, I guess
     Will report later as to the effect (for me)
UAV- now is visible to players and able to be shot down
     Forgot about this until I died and saw it circling above my head...will attempt to get rid of the bastard soon

Hey man, I'm just compiling some data from various sites (like bf2player.com), but I haven't tested that yet Will let y'all know asap

Yea, thet AA improvement is messed up. I went into a server with only 5 players to practice some flying today and I got shot down 5 times by AA. Twice I was in a jet and dropped chafe, then put on the after burners and pulled straight up, then did a verticle corkscrew and still got hit by the AA rocket, flying planes and helo's is going to be one hell of a challenge now.

I think it is about time the aircraft got nerfed.

Heli's should never have been able to survive a direct hit by an APC tow/ Tank round/2000lb bomb.
The blackhawk should never have been able to kill APC's
And planes have a habit of exploding into fireballs when a SAM hits them.

*jumps into the pilot's seat and takes off* (this should be fun)

(am I the only BF2 pilot who thinks that planes should have to actually land to rearm/repair?)
(and does anyone else think that the F-35 should be able to resupply at helipads?)

EA should have done one of two things--
1. Fixed the AA
or
2. Weakened the choppers/jets

I haven't had too much experience yet with them though...
