i got my 25 IAR on Wake.... 20 out of 64 the game lasted over an hour.   As far as my vet badge you can get 10 on a variety of maps.  I do suggest to stay in a jeep or apc while repairing...  It is safer and they repair faster.   I also like to trailer tanks and other fighting just to repair.   I know my spm took a beating while I went for my 1000 repairs, but every time I saw something was down I switch kits (when I died) and fixed everything.

Good luck,

Frankie

As a commander im always an engineer cause the enemies are trying to blow ur asset up. I see a lot of commanders trying to repair their asset with the supplie crates, but i think that's stuppid cause now u give the enemy to retrieve some new c4 and blow ur complete asset away.
Yeah, the enemy commander is a complete idiot, it drops supplies as soon as i blow their assets.
And i wait for the supply crate to repair, get more C4 and blow it up again (including the supply crate.)

And get another point for 'destroying strategic object.'

5 pts is easy.  I get that almost every round I play an engineer.
10 was tougher.
25, well I will have to be lucky on that I think.  And no I'm not going to be driving something into the water and cranking a wrech to get it that way.

Having a buddy watch over you while your repairing helps a lot too.  He can kill the enemy while covering your butt as you crank that wrench as fast as you can.

was using a APC on Operation Clean Sweep at the American base to keep everything up and running. Got 13 pts and I wasn't trying to.  I had some support fool following me around and getting in the way or I might have gotten more.  If your going to repair whore, tell your commander to save his supplies for the guys at the front.  It does 3 things.  Gives you more repair pts, keeps the enemy from getting more C4 and helps the guys at the front how need the supplies more than you do.

Just remember you have to kill the enemy occassionally so you can repair your vehicle from time to time.

I got mine on night flight, at the start of the round i used spec ops to blow our own assets up then respawn as engineer & repair them , repeated 5 times & got it near the start of the round, came back & helped the team win while erasing all my team damage points.

A little underhanded but I was frustrated trying to get it for 3 days, couldn't think of a map good for it , & didnt even know if it would work... it did.

spacebandit72: Your exactly right, I was reading the new roe & its in there! Maybe they will have pity on me cause it was only 10 points, or grandfather me because it was done before the new roe came out.

owell whats done is done... I take responsibility for it like a man.

I was just trying to help a bf2'er out telling him my experiances so that he might get his badge, but now I can tell him not to do it my way, because that is now considered wrong.

thanks for bring this to my attention, I would have never thought it wrong.

Well, you know TrollmeaT, the crazy thing is... that I think would be a form of stat padding. That is very looked down on here.
Another thing... If I was your commander... you'd be dead or kicked.
Some of us work hard for the badges we get but it's done without cheating.
My stats speak for themselves... generaly I suck at bf2 but it's fun.

I've gotten really good at getting 10 repair pts a round now.  Doesn't matter the map if you you have active spec ops enemies or su 34 pilots who bomb the toys every couple of minutes.    Just keep moving around in a vehicle to do the repairs.    APCs are probably the best.  You drive and shoot and repair all at the same time.

Try Daqing Oilfields. China bombers usually destroy USA radar & ant.

Just try it in a 32 plyrs server. Daqing Oildfields has the USA art and ant so near between it. Radar in airfield.

Stay near, but not in car due bombers will spotting u.

Sry bout my poor english.
