Since i won my physics card ive been doing research and people said it uses alot of power. According to the new power supply calculater it says i only use around 340 watts. I have a 420 now. Will it be enough to run it?
It doesn't just depend on wattage. What brand is your PSU?
Thermaltake
I have a shit 315W PSU and any calculator I use says I should be using a 400+ ... still runs ... ok .... but I could do with a new one I guess.
well u would find out pretty quickly once u use it
As long as you have sufficient amps.
Where do you find one of those calculaters. I have an Nvidia BFG 850W Power Supply and I want to see how much i'm using.
The calculators are not worth using. They are total rubbish.Johnny_Extremer wrote:

The Asus calculator is pretty good I find. Give it a go

Watts mean nothing, its all Amps. You could have a 1000W max output PSU but if you only have 1 rail with 24Ampss, its a POS.NeXuS4909 wrote:
