requirements for the service ribbons in SF were found long ago and the airplane one is commented out in the code so not obtainable. the other ones (crew and armor) are easy to get.

He probably is talking about the display in BFHQ. I have my Crew service, Heli, armour, SAS, spetsnaz and insurgent ribbon but only the Crew, armour SAS and Spetz show up.
Its pretty annoying. The ribbon shows up on the stats pages, shows up in the sigs, but in game it doesnt except for the "recent awards" display.
I had my first 4 then when I got my heli ribbon it wouldnt show up. I thought it would maybe after I got another ribbon but got the insurgent last night and no go.
And I looked today after patching and it doesnt seem to be fixed.
