Mouse keeps dropping connection

hey guys

got a razer diamondback plasma a couple o years ago and just recently it's started dropping the connection, then reconnecting about 2/3 seconds later ... quite annoying.

I've switched USB ports and updated to the latest drivers, it's still doing it ... any other suggestions I can try?

Does it come with software? Have you tried it with or without it?

Yeah but it's been fine since a few weeks ago which makes me think the mouse might be dying

You could try plugging it into a usb>ps/2 adapter, see how it works.

Same thing happened to someone I know. I'm sorry to say, but the mouse is dying

Mine did that after I dropped it, it's just a loose connection inside, pop it open and have a poke round for a loose solder join and fix it up.
