Is PC5300(667MHz) memory compatible with an E8200 CPU(1333MHz bus) and a MSI p31 NEO-f (1333MHz FSB)motherboard?

edit: hard question that is eh?

Minimum DDR400 for 800MHz bus.
Minimum DDR533 for 1066MHz bus.
Minimum DDR667 for 1333MHz bus.

So, yeah. But don't expect too much performance.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Besides why not get 800MHz?

It's not that much more expensive...

I reached the maximum budget for the PC already, there's no way I'm going to put in more expensive components.

Where do order from?! Tell me! Tell me!

EDIT: Nvm, I think its Azerty, is it a reliable company? Because I am looking into ordering some new components next month, but on Alternate the 8400 = 279 euro or something and there is a like 90 euros cheaper

Check and see if your motherboard and powersupply come with the sata cables/power plug you are ordering.  May save the bucks necessary to buy the better ram.  With rebates and what not ddr800 is cheaper than most other memory in the US.

With memory prices dropping, you could also probably afford to start off with 2Gb of ram and add more later.  I don't think you will see much difference between 2Gb and 3Gb.

Jep azerty, EXCELLENT webshop IMO. I've bought multiple parts there, their packages always get delivered in a perfect state. And their products are good priced compared to other webshops.

It's an E8200 in the configuration stated above, not a E8400!
