Hello all.

I was reading that the new 9800 will be using PCI 2.0 and wasn't sure if it was something I have on my mother board already.

Anyway cheers

no. your motherboard doesn't support PCI-E 2.0. but don't worry. the PCI-E 2.0 cards are compatible with the 1.x slots

Will my mobo limit the performance or can they still not max what PCI 1 can do?

It depends if the card exceeds the bandwidth of PCIe 1.0/1.1

If you already have PCI-e, there's no reason to go 2.0 just for the 9800GTX.
