I have a shitty laptop. Windows and the specs of my laptop are not agreeable. I figure Linux would be far more forgiving in performance.
My question is: does Linux have a wide variety of drivers now? My laptop is your general POS thing... some crappy onboard sound, some crappy internal video card (VIA I believe, not Intel... that's how shitty), and some decrepit WiFi card.
