I have one and I love it, although I haven't had much tome to play it lately Great games, free wifi, and some nice extras... besides, who wants to watch a movie on such a small screen?

I had a PSP for a month, it gathered more dust that my bike lol

considering how long you said those bus trips were, psp is at a real disvantage there. if you had a movie (dont buy them, UMD's are the definition of fail for this century) it wouldnt last half that trip. i know the psp got a new battery. but the DS lasts about 8 hours per charge (changes depending on the birghtness of the screen, about 5 hours at full brightness and 10 at no backlight, which is ok if your on a bus with a window) vs psp average 4 or so hours (if your playing games, obviously MP3s use barely any)

Depends on if you'll be playing alone or with people.

I bought my DS cos me and my friends all got one together. One of the best things I've ever bought.

If you're just gonna be sitting at home, then I guess a PSP, but DS is generally more fun.

I personally have a DS, and like stated above, it has great multiplayer if people around you have one as well. The PSP does have more media and more shooters, but it only has one analog stick, which I hear is annoying.

It depends on what you're looking for.

PSP for movies, music, 'more serious games'.

DS for intuitive, fun games that can easily be played with friends - always a great laugh.

I have a DS as I don't believe you can play 'serious games' on a handheld console and that these small consoles are better used for quirky, more 'lol' games, like mario kart.
