The tech coordinator at my school, who I work for as an aid for one of my class periods, said he used to play Quake with the other computer helpers over the school network back when he used to teach Tech Ed. He would give the class their assignments and then go to his computer and play away.

Holy mother of god. You guys have fuckin awesome teachers. The best I have is my Modern History teacher who talks about his Toyota Hilux ute, and shows us pictures, talks about stories he had with other Hilux users (there is a website and forum, you can organise a weekend away and stuff), and general shit like that. He also relates a lot back to the Simpsons and Family Guy. Pretty cool dude.
But some of those teachers, oh wow. Wow, wow wow indeed. What a bunch of champions.
Edit: And also, if one of my teachers rocked up to school like that, they'd get sent home to change. (We have uniforms and uniform policies, no free dress days either :'( )

24 year old teacher seems wierd to me.
The vast majority of our teachers are balls. Either, they don't give a fuck about the class, or they are waaay over-sensitive and gives detention for someone falling off their chair. (Ya rly).
