Plus in many case, a seller would ship something late, not ship and item at all, etc... the buyer would want to leave negative feedback but doesn't because of a negative feedback from the seller as retaliation. Also, it protects the buyer because once the buyer pays the ball is in the sellers court to ship the item. If a buyer doesn't pay for an item, the seller doesn't ship and no harm is done. The seller can just report this to eBay and with enough violations, the buyer is remove. No need for the seller to leave negative feedback for a buyer.TheAussieReaper wrote:

Usually the buyer will say how they were ripped off, only for the seller to leave a pointless negative comment which never gets read anyway. If your selling an item you don't look at your buyers feedback. They more than likely have already sent a paypal payment.
ive not had any problems with bad sellers etc, but i would feel abit apprehensive about giving negative feedback in case they retaliated unfairly, as i would have paid straight away and given good communication etc...trippy982 wrote:
