Go for this: Caesar is torn between his wife, and the warning from the vestales(?)/ soothsayers, yet he knows that he must go to the Senate. When he dies, he expresses surprise at Brutus, and helplessness. Later, when the war is fought, there is guilt, anger, a thirst for revenge stemming from sadness and sorrow (from Caesar's nephew) and some suicidal tendency by the baddies. That's all I can remember, I studied the play 3 yrs ago.
hope it helps!

That helps a LOT. Thank you. +1 to you. What's even more bullshit is that we haven't even read the play, yet my specific group (there's 5 groups studying different things) has to do our project on the play.

How the fuck am I supposed to know about the play when I didn't even read it? I swear, half my class wants to murder my teacher.

Be happy you didn't have to memorize "Friends, Romans, countrymen!"

We had a quotes test on who said the assorted quote, to whom it was said, and something else I can't remember.
