There was this website, that you could type in a phone number, and it would send it a message that you could type.  The message would be read automatically, with a Microsoft Sam kind of voice.  You could also type in the number you wanted displayed on a caller ID.

Does anyone know of this site, or one like it?

Much karma for help.

EDIT:  Found it:  http://www.aftervoice.com/

Dude, I got one of those one time.  Text to phone.  It was really wierd.

I want a link too.  I am going to make a message like in "The Ring" and "Untraceable" where I tell them "If you are listening to this message you will die in 5 days".

Ah dude.  Speaking of that.  A couple weeks ago I heard that ringtone for that new movie in public.  It was creepy as hell.

Can't remember the name of the movie though.

Edit: Oh yeah, One Missed Call.

If you want a better one, check out:

http://www.ip-relay.com/

This is basically the same thing, except that the words you type are spoken by the operator to the person you call and the operator types back what they say.  I used to use this all the time in high school to prank call friends but I found out a few years ago that the whole thing is actually some sort of public service for deaf or hearing-impaired people that need to make calls.  I still use it, but it might bother some people to take advantage of a public service.  It's too fun to stop.  Am I going to hell?

That service and typetalk phones were essential to deaf people years ago, but nowadays most companies have their own typetalk phone to talk to deaf people.
