I need to know how to do that.  This computer has 2.8GHz Pentium 4 with Hyper-Threading enabled in the BIOS but I need to know how to change the ACPI setting because it seems that what it is set to will not allow me to use the hyper-threading.  I know it is not using it because only one graph appears for the processor in the task manager.  Btw, this is a Windows 2000 computer.

Make sure that it makes one graph per CPU (View -> CPU History)

No, it's already ACPI, it's not standard HAL so I don't need to know how to change from standard to ACPI HAL but from single-processor ACPI to dual-processor.

I think you missed the note right in the middle of the KB article.

NOTE: You can use Device Manager to change from a single-processor HAL to a multiple-processor HAL.

Now I just need a Hiren's boot disk to do that, lol.  I don't have admin access to this comp.
