Did someone steal my gigabytes? :(

I'm about to format, and when I was doing my last check to see if I had any files left that I hadn't copied over, I saw this:

The C: Drive has 37.1 GB of used space, but when I select everything in C: (including hidden files and folders and Protected Operating System Files) it only shows 11.2 GB used.

So where's the extra 26GBs?

The page file is selected, and the trash is too (RECYCLER).

I'm not sure about the others, but could they really take up 26GB?

Sysytem restore points. They suck

Go disk cleanup -> advanced->clean up all but most recent restore point

Ah yeah, that did it, I didn't realise how much space they took up

lol thats what i do
but yeah, if you've never used it, i recommend downloading CCleaner its great for getting rid of that kinda stuff.
plus the reg cleaner is cool.

also try control panel - performance and maintenance - administrative tools - computer management - then on the left side hit disk management - and you can partion your hdd so u might have something automatic already partioned and u can delete the partion and make more space on your hdd
