Im considering a M1530 as well. Id up the HDD to 7200 and the processor, and lower the RAM to 2GB to cover it.
I'm fed up of this Dell bashing. I have a vostro 1700 with Vista business, I've had it since october and its not crashed more than twice.
I've jus been playin timeshift maxed out (except for AA) at 1440x900. It runs perfectly with the 8600GT.
The people that are bashing most likely have no experience with dell laptops.
I've got the same speed HDD n it works fine.
