I have been playing for a while. When I started this game I was not a very good fps player. Since then I've got much better and and I have also went through about four comp builds. video cards went from a 9100 ati, 1650 ati, 7950 gx2, to currently a 8800 gts 640. My question---- Is there a way to track your stats for a given period of time? Say I want to see what my kdr was only when I was a Gunny and then maybe compare it to kdr for the time when I was only a Captain. I would like exclude all the stats for other ranks or periods of time. Is this possible? Thanks for your help.

No you can't
If you look at your stats an click "history" and then KDR, you'll be able to see your KDR some time back. It's the only method I know.
Not really. Maybe you should learn to plug it into a spreadsheet when you check it and construct a graph.

You MIGHT be able to go to bf2player.com, plug in your PID, and hit the graph button for KDR and select the month that was around when you were gunny. It might have it still from that far back, it may not

bf2s.com only tracks stats after the first day you or someone else looked up your PID. Whats your account name...?
Thanks Wallpaper. I can get as far back as Sep 07. It only breaks it down by month not rank. That is very helpful though. Name is Bambampancakes.
