I'm doing it on a laptop, and I have no idea how to get into the boot device priority screen.  So I can't use the Linux boot CD.  I can't use a Windows boot CD.  And I can't format the drive because it's the Windows drive.

How can I get this to work out?  I tried hitting Delete before Windows boots up, but to no avail.

Access to the BIOS screen differs depending on the mobo. Sometimes it's delete, sometimes it's F8 etc. It SHOULD say the BIOS key during boot up though.....

Yeah, just keep hitting Del, F10, F8 or F12 before startup, it's probably one of them. If not try to find a PDF of the laptop's manual online somewhere?

Okay thanks guys.  I forgot to mention I did try F8 as well.  I'll try F10 and F12, and if not, I'll look for the manual.

sometimes boot list is separate from bios too. On my laptop DEL gets me to bios and F2 gets me to boot list.
