BF2S Forums No more blackhawk point farming?

ahhh poo, i dont do it, but when im rideing on a black hawk in like a city map wOOt, i get alot of points.

no i was just support and the guys in there with me were spamming grenades all over the city, and i got heaps of re supply points. but when i got out of chopper and checked my score i was still on 2 points.

I am not trying to flame the patch, because lets be honest what can you do.  But I do not like how all the choppers seemed to get really toned down.  The planes just continue to fly by and bomb the snot out of you.  The really items that truely needed to be nerfed was the planes.  Thats just my opinion and I am sticking to it.  Oh and its bull ish how the AA guns can Tk easier now.  I got knocked out of the sky like 3 times in one map (wake) and they were Tks.  Your lock warning does not come on either, so its a surprise and annoying.

can someone else confirm that kit points dont count in the blackhawk anymore?

I don't know for sure but you may be right. After flying past the hotel twice and getting shotdown twice by 1 vodnick very fast last night I stopped flying, my gunners couldn't hit squat and left me with no protection. I only got 4 points while in the BH but I don't remember if they were all kill assist. I just remember asking constantly why they were not killing anything. (I usually go a whole round in the BH without getting shot down on mashtur)

Back in 1.03 they added an anti stat padding feature where if you repair\heal\resupply the someone and get a point for it, you can't get points for doing that action to the same person for a few mins. Its to stop buddies sitting together healing\resupplying each other constantly to get points.

So if your black hawk was hovering over the same group of people you wouldn't gain any points for a while.

Not sure about that. Me and AT guy were camping on the roof in carkand, so I was resupplying him constantly and got all resupply points

That's freaking gay.  Damn this patch!!! 
I can only assume we'll all play more then...I mean come on...are any of us going to STOP playing because of this patch??  We'll play more, get use to it and love it as always.  However, once we get everything under control and we're doing well with the patch, they'll probably change it again!
Even though it sucks that you use to not be able to hit anything with the AA gun and that you could hit EVERYTHING with the blackhawk gun (for us running along the ground), now, is it not more fair for everyone.  Also, making it more difficult to do things on the game will ultimately make us better players overall. 
I can't tell you how many times I got blown away by some noobtubing, bunny hopping, dolphin diving 13 year old.  Now, much of that has been taken away, and even though I also got good at diving through the air while dodging bullets and cacking some nags along the way...it's fair for both sides...those who are too good at killing b/c of "glitches" in the game and those that got killed every 2 minutes or less.
One thing I did find ridiculous is that I can't run over and hump someone's face after killing them.  I hit the ctrl button really fast over and over, but my guy barely moves up and down on the dead guys face!!!...freaking gay!!!  What else though??
