Who watched Dallas?

I remember seeing it everyday many years ago. Think I was younger than 16.... great show!! Unfortunatly I didn't get to see the last couple of episodes, but I read that JR got shot? Or...? Did they make several cliffhangers also?

Too bad I can't see it anywhere.
