Bug, turns enemies into a big red model for all friendlies. Able to be seen through walls.

Name Changer. Changes name to a name make uppable.

Heavy:

Infinite ammo

OR

When medics heal, goes 2x as fast.

OR

Laser gun. The one that has a constant beam.

OR

When in uber, 100% accuracy. No recoil. 2x damage. Ultimate killing.

DemoMan:

The swinging double explosive from the trailer. 1 hit ko. Works like the Bf2 Nade.

OR

Huge explosive. Think Artillary strike.

OR

C4. The BF2 kind. : )

Engineer:

The Gravity gun. What else. Really makes it Source forts, doesn't it.

Speaking of source forts, the ability to create wooden planks. Or somthing.

A plantable mine (comes in varieties!). Costs, IDK, 20 metal?

Sniper:

Semi-auto Sniper. What else.

Wall hack. That'd be cool. Make snipers a lot more scarier.

they are not going to implement an MP7 or an AK47, this is not real life. can't you tell all the guns are cartoony and made up?

Grenades suck. They sucked in TFC, and they'll suck in TF2. They slow the game down way too much.

A smoke grenade would work well for the sniper. Or rather, it would make other sniper's lives nightmares. Perfect for large areas.

However, the 'tards would use them all the time on friendlies.

Easy kp, I'm sure he didn't only mean your unlimited cloaking time thingie . Well, I like some of the ideas I must say. More rockets for Soldier would be nice. Multiple rockets at once seems stupid. Waljump sounds awesome.
But tbph I don't think they can find good things for every class. But it's valve so I look forward to it.
But the game is perfect as it is. Some more new maps would also be welcome although the customs make up for a lot.

I agree that changing it will unbalance the game...
but here are my ideas for at least keeping it somewhat balanced.

Spy: Chokewire - allows the spy to kill while staying cloaked/disguised. It should take 10 seconds to kill the target, and the target makes noise while being killed. This would allow the spies to easily kill engineers camping a turret near a flag.

Scout: I've always liked the idea of a throwable knife for the scout. Just one knife... insta-kill... and throwable, but highly inaccurate unless perfectly still. It goes with the baseball theme a bit, is not too powerful, is one use only... meh

Medic: health packs. The ability to drop health packs seems good to me... it's somewhere in between the medic's healing gun and a dispenser.

Sniper: a very accurate pistol. low damage, but extreme accuracy and low recoil. This would enable snipers to better assist their teammates.

Soldier: Grenades. Nothing more than 1 or two frag grenades.

Pyro: smoke grenades that act as a visual obstacle, but also choke anyone (on either team) caught inside. could also be a good offensive weapon against multiple turrets/engineers.

Heavy: I honestly don't know here. Maybe, instead of taking the minigun, they could equip with body armor, raising their health... but they would have to use the shotgun. Or maybe, the ability to sprint decently fast for a short period, but at the cost of less ammo. This would be a good tactical move, and could aid both defensively and offensively.

Engineer: Don't know if the engine could support this with any decency, but... a remote controlled attack chopper? It would be small, and fit in with the whimsicality of the game... easy to kill, but capable of launching 2 rockets and would have a machine gun similar in damage and accuracy to the sniper's. of course, the engineer would be immobile while flying the chopper, and would not be aware of his surroundings.
another, more feasible idea, would be cameras. an engineer could place a very, very inconspicuous camera (maybe infrared... capable of seeing spies? also capable of seeing through smoke cloud?) The camera would be small and hard to see (could camouflage?), but provide no other service than to survey an area.

Demo: Mines. Nothing like the Proxy mine from goldeneye... not one-hit-kill kinda stuff... more like a defensive trap, that deals 100 or so damage max. Could be good for exposing spies, defending turrets against said spies, and cutting off certain chokepoints. Mines could be sapped though, but are hard to see.



those are just a few of my ideas.

Pyro

Super Flame Thrower Give the pyro a flame thrower with a longer and range and higher damage, But less crit chance and burn ammo 3x faster.

Spread Flame Thrower Flame thrower that fires a burst of flames in a 90 degree spread being able to hit more targets at once. But also burns ammo quicker.

General More ammo for the Flamethrower when picking up weapons.

Demo

Mad Bomber Shoot Pipes Faster, But Stickies slower.

TNT Charge Not what you think! Not a thrown TNT charge but a planted one with a large explosion radius. It has long 5-8 second setup time, Remote detonated, It can be defused by Engy's wrench, Defused by another demoman, Or wires cut by a Spies knife. Maybe infinite ammo like the sapper? But only one can be planted at anytime, And it would replace sticky bombs.

General Make sticky jumping more predictable.

Heavy

Ammo Belt 100 extra rounds for the minigun, But a 15% reduction in speed when walking normally(Default speed when revving or shooting)

Sasha's Little Sister A Heavy shotgun that can fire either 1 or 2 rounds at once and has a bigger ammo capacity than the standard shotty. But less ammo total(8 in gun 20 spare?) And bigger spread aswell.

General Let his fists hit harder.

Engineer

Customizable Sentries? I really cant think of anything since i dont play engy much.

General Give the sentry a blind spot 60 degrees directly in back of it. So if you're not shooting it wont be alerted to your presence. And reduce the amount of metal needed for repairs.(The reason is suggest a blindspot is that sometimes being behind a sentry out of its range, And stepping one yard means boom you're dead)

Sniper

Quicker shot An 8 shot Semi Auto sniper rifle with no charge meter to keep it from overpowering the Basic Bolt Rifle. And it has a total of 32 rounds.

Ok i admit the above was a bad idea. But here is something i hope will be better.

A rifle with a 5 shot internal magazine, That is not clip fed but 1 round(shell) at a time like the shotgun, No charge meter as the above, And 20 rounds spare.(Making the total ammo count the same as the regular bolt rifle)

Penetrating Power Let the Bolt action when fully charged be able to go through more than one enemy at once. But longer time to charge.(More incentive to stay in zoom)

General Give more incentive for him to target anything else but other snipers.

Spy

Old School Spying A single action revolver that requires the hammer to be pulled back after each shot(Kinda like the sniper rifle)with 50% more damage, Less spread, And no crits. Same amount of rounds

Fire Proof Suit Keeps you from catching on fire when lit by an enemy pyro, But you still take damage. To keep this balanced you have no cloak.

Master Spy Be able to see enemy name tags and the name of the enemy that you are disguised as. But you have no cloak.

General Longer cloak when not moving.


Agree/Disagree? One, Few,  Many, All?

Please add your own suggestions guy's but make them as logical as possible that would not unbalance the game much, And be more of a trade off then an upgrade.
Unfortunately Valve doesn't listen and the community are a bunch of asshats.

Edit 2: Seriously guys my ideas were the best i've seen on the entire site. While everyone else was suggesting things like flamethrower sentries, infinite cloak, etc etc. I was trying to actually contribute and make some good suggestions. All these people are assholes. It's all upgrade, upgrade, upgrade! Not a trade off like unlocks were originally supposed to be like in bf2. And how they are in cod4.

those are great suggestions, i like the running shoes for scout, and the SMG is a great idea, i want my nailgun back

the master spy is good, very balanced imo. great ideas mate +1.

Who says Valve don't listen? They don't reply on those forums (I don't think), but they certainly listen.

I also love the idea of a flamethrower sentry gun.
