Airsoft BB rifle?
I just want to know what will be my money's worth, I dont plan on buying $600 dollar guns, I think the $100-$200 range is good.
If any one owns one post a picture and list how much you paid for it.

I own this. Paid $295 for gun itself. $100 for some batteries (couple small ones that didn't work with the so-called "universal" charger, so I just bought a huge one that'll last a very long time and I tape it to the side of the gun with electrical tape). $40 for battery charger. $15 for a cheap bag. $?? for BBs. $40? for a Red-dot scope. $40 for an extra hi-cap magazine. $?? Foregrip handle.
It really sucks because I got it because my friends were getting into airsoft as well. We play a few times and they get sick of it because they suck and they're pussies. So I've hardly used this thing at all and wasted too much money on it.
I'll give you all this stuff for $400 + shipping

do you actually shoot eachother with these like paintball? or are they just for fun
Yes.
Yes the sport is just like Paintball, just more realistic, takes honor to play, because unlike in paintball you can tell if you've hit your target but in Airsoft you can't tell so you rely on "HONOR!"Locoloki wrote:

I was acutally looking at that gun last night but figured it was too much, its a good price but I only need a $100 one.GodFather wrote:

Paintball > airsoft
Lol at honor. Good luck with that at a public field(are there public fields for airsoft?).

Not around where I live, but I play with close friends and I am pretty sure they are trustable, and we also use the guns to shoot at ducksVolatile wrote:

I just hate how the paintball guns look. They don't look like real guns like airsoft gunsVolatile wrote:

Airsoft is all about the looks. Paintball is about kickin' arse.avman633 wrote:

With paintball you can inflict more non-lethal damage imo, and therefore game intensity is higher. When I used to play, t-shirt and cargo pants was all I wore, none of that padded or armored faggotry. You get hit wearing hardly anything, and next time you'll do whatever it takes to keep from feeling that pain again.
Airsoft requires truth, not honour. Whole different story.Cuttin_cut wrote:

Hah you think paintball is pain when you get hit?
get one of those soapballs in the back of your head from airsoft with someone shooting at 2 m distance.
Yeh thats pain.

inane little opines
It depends were you get him, being shot by either a airsoft or paintball gun in the nuts is painfull.dayarath wrote:

Either way i prefer paintball, they may not look real but its so much more fun.
I've never went paintballing or had an Airsoft war so I don't know which is more fun.

EDIT: yes its an airsoft gun

OK, if you enjoy pain, go for it. Personally, I'd rather not...although at the last two airsoft games I was at, people lost parts of teeth.Volatile wrote:

Airsoft is more about realism than paintball. Look up Operation Lion Claws or Operation IRENE and tell me that the game intensity is lower...
To the OP:
Try looking at ECHO 1 or JG brands.
Really, most good quality airsoft rifles are over $200.

Wow the L96 looks sweet, if me n my mates still played (one of my mates had a huge garde perfect for it) I'd be tempted to get that
I've played both airsoft and paintball. I say paintball > airsoft anyday.
