I don't know about you, but I am tired of hearing or seeing these words:
APPLICATION:
This one comes from my lack of success at getting jobs right now. I want to slap people who say this word. "Oh just put in an APPPP lication";
People tend to sound like they are having sex with the word when they say it. I get images of Bill Lumbergh from movie Office Space, nuff said.
DELUXE:
Perhaps because said version of 2142 doesn't allow the expansion to work online. In fact most "deluxe" versions of games seem to suck badly especially if they were put together by EA. Other than that, it just sounds bad in my ears.
NOOB:
It's bad enought that no one can spell it right, but this word is overused and needs to be replaced with something fresh. Plus, it is such a lame insult: akin to "don't be square."
