I have an old tv in my room that i don't really use except sometimes watching DVDs, but i was hoping to put it to a little better use. Are there any TV 'mods' that you know of i could use with it? I don't really care what, anything cool, really. pic below.

It has a VCR player and a DVD player built-in.

Idea:
I'm sure it could be done with a bit of engineering... but do this: Buy an old playstation, SNES... old console of choice. Remove the VCR and DVD player and put it in there... Figure out connections/power...

I'm sure it could be done, and you'd have an all-in-one retro gaming television! It would be fun for everyone.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity.
