My computer is going batshit on me. I will be playing BF2, or maybe just on the internet, or doing something offline, but my monitor (read: the screen part) will flicker yellow. It's really starting to annoy me. I think it might be poor monitor connection, but I tightened it up and it's still happening. Help is greatly appreciated.

well mine does that, but mine does it because it is a poor connection, pushing it in on mine solves my problem
Check the monitor cable and try to move tha cable right were it joins to the plug and move it to see if your image quality gets better or worse. If it makes it look better/worse then go buy a new cable. Other than that, I don't know what else to I can recommend you to check.
If you have a CRT monitor try degaussing it. If not it's probably a loose connection, video card going out, or monitor going out.

If it's a CRT monitor, it might be that the colour tube is on its way out........ If it's a TFT idk.
Do you have large speakers next to it? But try degaussing it first too.. if it's crt.
