Especially in DC. It's always fucking cold, and there's always so much god damn wind you'd think there was a bloody tornado. So not only do you have the cold of winter, but it's aggregated with wind chill. Then to make matters worse, it's not like there's snow or anything which actually makes winter somewhat nice. No, it rarely snows in DC and when it does, it rarely sticks to the ground. So then you just have a bunch of slush and ice.
It fucking sucks, and it has no consistency. For example, last year near the end of March I went to Park City, Utah for spring break. It was pretty cold up in the mountains, but on the day I left... I walked out of the hotel in a t-shirt and jeans. It was chilly but nothing untolerable, and this was a 4AM mind you. I fly from UT to Texas, then from texas to DC. When I get off the plane at DC, I am freezing to death. Yes, it was colder in DC than in Utah. The winter chills last year lasted from around November 06 to April 06. Five fucking months. Fuck me, last Wednesday I was wearing a t-shirt and shorts just fine. Today I was wearing jeans, a shirt, a fleece, a heavy leather jacket, and I was still freezing.
I really want to move to a place where year-round, the temperature rarely drops below 50 degrees (Fahrenheit). In summer and spring I want it to be around 70 degrees, slight breeze, partly cloudy... beautiful. Oh, and a fair amount of thunderstorms as well... I love thunderstorms.
TL;DR: If Winter was a person I'd make it spend a night in a room with Zombie Lincoln.
