ok, so i installed windows xp pro into this prebuilt computer that a friend of mine just bought, ok she didn't wanted me to build it from scratch because she wanted warranty, so ok she this computer
a shitty case with a power supply included
CPU: AMD athlon x2 5000
motherboard: elitegroup, geforce6100sm-m2
HDD:WD 250GB
RAM: 2GB
ok so there's no video card, it's an onboard shitty graphic card.

Here is the deal, the computer didn't come with any OS, so i reformatted made partitions and all that stuff, then i installed windows xp pro without any problem, the i went to install the motherboard drivers, so i did, then i rebooted the computer and i get this problem:

Nvidia: Boot Agent 242.0535
Copyright (C) 2001-2005 Nvidia Corporation
Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation
PXE-E61: nedia test failure, check cable
PCE-M0F: exiting Nvidia Boot agent
Disk Boot failure, insert system disk and press ENTER

then windows won't load up, i just wanted to fix it without going back to the retail store to get it fix for me.

help me.

sounds like it wants to boot from the network, change boot priority to HDD in BIOS
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

try changing to
1st: HD
2nd: CD
3ed: floppy/network/whatever is left

then in HD priority make sure you have the correct HD selected

It sounds like you've got the wrong motherboard drivers. Did you use the CD that came with the mobo/computer? Maybe some idiot put the wrong thing on the CD. You could reinstall windows and try to install the current drivers for the mobo downloaded from the manufacturer's website.

ok, so right now i'm very frustrated, i managed to installed nvidia onboard driver, network driver and sound but every time i install each one the it asked to be rebooted which is normal, then i get that nvidia error and then i have to repair windows to get all the files back. do you think i have done something wrong or the BIOS aren't properly adjusted?
keep in mind it's a prebuilt system.
also is this right?
IDE channel 0 master: then here is the hard drive located
IDE channel 0 slave: DVD ROM drive
IDE channel 2 master: none
IDE channel 3 master: none

i do think there's something wrong with the coonfigurations in BIOS,
please i need help, it's my friend's computer not mine.
