Was wondering if anyone can help me getting EA downloader program going.  I have used this program many times and have it currently installed.  I haven't touched it in many, many months and now when I click the icon to load it up it says "Flash Plug-in required" and provides a link to the Adobe site to download the required file(s).

  So.. I download the files and install and it still says the same thing when I click the EA Downloader icon again!  I went back to the Adobe site and got a Flash uninstall application and ran that to wipe all previous versions off my computer and then ran the plug in file I initially downloaded (that ea downloader sent me to) and yet again it won't load up!  I closed all programs in my task bar that would be using flash and I also re-downloaded Ea Downloader to see if they had released a newer version, but they haven't.



   Any ideas?  Baically EA Downloader is sending me to a website to download the plug-in and when I do its like I never installed it... Is there an issue with downloader or is it possible it is linking me to the incorrect file(s)??

EA downloader has been replaced.  The program you are using is outdated.  EA still supports the downloader, for the sake of the people that PAID to use it, but's it has been changed.  Your EA downloader is pretty much invalid.  Check thier site for the info.

My friend ran into this, had to download a different EA downloader I think.  But he got his booster packs from it just fine.

Yeah Im in the same boat... the new EA download manager says that I can download the copy of Armed Fury and Euro Forces, that I had got back in 96, will be available in 132 days. So Unless you have a great contact with EA you can forward to me My prayers go out to you .

EDIT:  i am guessing your best bet is to not use the EA downloader, your OLD version, at all.  If they have some sort of update patch or whatever for your old version, we all know how nice EA patches are .
