erm fuck off k, newcastle sunderland is more highly regarded than spurs v arsenal or utd v citys so go fuck ur sel on that one, and also these 2 clubs got votd 1st and 2nd for the best supporters so its always widely watched.
You think people outside of North East England are interested in Newcastle v Sunderland.
I'm sorry to dissapoint you, they arn't.
For eg, Newcastle big club? I think so. Everyones stopped talking about KK already. Ask the Asians who is the manager of Sunderland? They arn't going to know I', afraid.
Lol, 1927, you crack me up, when you say "You think people outside of North East England are interested in Newcastle v Sunderland.

I live in Birmingham, i watch it, i support Newcastle, i have the shirt.
I mean in vast numbers, numbers that will financially support the project/make it worthwhile in doing it in the first place.
The last thing I ever try and do is offend and hope that isn't the case with you if you are please accept my sincere apolagies.
The reasons I think Newcastle vs Sunderland would fail (remember these ar only hypothetical examples and the likelyhood is it won't happen) are:
Fan Numbers. Other than Micheal Owen what would be the pull to say for eg, the Japanese public? Other than the two current managers what names would the average Japanese man know?
Both clubs haven't been in Europe for some time now, they haven't been in the FA CUP final for a while (thats beamed worldwide) so how would the average Japanese man know about the clubs. Why would he part with his hard earned cash (providing of course corporate don't take all the seats)
Everton, if they wen't to China might be a success, same with Man City (both clubs in fan numbers smaller to Newcastel/another argument for another day) but they have or had Chinese players, household names in their countries. Isn't Evertons current sponsor Asian? If Everton pulled Derby in Saudi, they would probaly fail.
Im a passionate Cardiff fan, we had Fan Zhiyi a few years ago, (picked him up off WBA for nothing). All of a sudden we had 100 extra Journo's wanting to attend games, Chinese students came from Cardiff Uni, members of the South Wales Chinese public came, at the time we were in the Coca Cola 1 league, his arrival caused huge excitment, he wasn't even their best player. We started sending shirts with his name on to China but to us he was just a small player, to the Chinese he was like Beckam was to us at the time.
Cardiff would fail if by then we were given the chance to play abroad (unless of course we pulled a top 4 out the hat) and we are the only club in a capitol city (not many other teams can say that) all be it in a Rugby loving nation. We arn't a world wide brand, win the prem, get to the final of the Champs League and maybe an Fa Cup and you got the chance to be beamed worlwide and make your self a household name.
I think the only ones that would succeed would unfortunatly be
Chelsea
Man Utd
Arsenal
Liverpool
(next best chance)
Man City
Spurs
Newcastle
Villa.
Or for that matter any London team (the place that attracts most tourists)
I suppose if you got American owners that also gives you a chance as this is probably where the idea has come from. Unfortunatly what they wern't told is to the investor, football is a loosers game; you won't get your dollar back.
I could be wrong of course in all this only time will tell but I hope it succeeds just the once and then they bin the idea and never forget that; whilst the ref is the most important person in a game of football the fans must always come first, thats the fans that turn up week in week out, the fans that go skint as they pump all their hard earned money into the clubs they love.
Everybody at a club will at some time come and go except one person, the fan. Once you have the club in your blood it never leaves you and once a club looses a fan thats it, they never come back.
There are as many Man Utd and Liverpool shirts down here as Cardiff shirts, they are truley global brands, Arsenal are just scratching at that, about to break it and I think Chelsea are probably just behind Man Utd and Liverpool.
I think only the top 4 are going todo anything out of this and it will just mean the rich get richer.
