Now I see you complaing about how you cant jet whore anymore because the changes?

And even saw some posts where you 'bunny hopper' whiners were complaining about the new
movement changes...

You know the old saying back in the school days..   It only takes one retard to ruin it for
the rest of us... well congratulations.. 

And the Bonehead Award for 2006 goes to EA/DICE for changing a game after its been out
for 6 months...

Gee, I wontder if I complain about how hard it is to tackle Peyton Manning in Madden 06' if
they will issue a patch for me and make it easier..

you need to stop whining as well. if you've seen what a true bunny hop attack was you'd know why they decided to do this. theres not much of a difference in shooting down choppers with a tank. if you managed to shoot them with a shell and some gun shots you'd shoot them down. this was supposed to address tank and jet whoring.

I've shot them with a tank round a the machine gun and still had them fly away after destroying me with a small rocket berage.  Ultimately the AA fix is all I really cared about, and they seem to have done that.  I kill BHers all the time, so that didn't bother me at all.

The new patch has its good things as well as its bad. One the guns accuracy is a plus except for support. There guns to seem to be able to out snipe me from 200m away with a sniper rifle or G-36C. The bunny hopping issue isnt fixed. You can still jump and shoot nades. Since the nade launch is delayed, you just shoot then jump. The new patch has ruined frame rates. Stingers will follow you no matter how they are launched. If you shoot at a chopper comming straight at you with a stinger and they go under it or over it, the stinger will circle around. That is not even close to real life if EA was trying to make it that way. C4 is ruined, you can't switch to the dentonator fast enough to kill armor. Overall the game was better with the last patch. Just becuase people complain about bunny hoppers and all sorts whores. People don't think strategy they just think like idiots.

Yeah, Im going to start complaing about how hard it is to score a touchdown in Madden 06

has little effect on my gameplay... I NEVER stated that I was a horid bunny hopper myself, I
was simply stating its sad when a bunch of crybabies like yourself cant hit a moving target..
Heres a tip for you, buddy,  NEVER PLAY UNREAL TOURNAMENT YOU WILL CRY YOUR EYES OUT.

All in All, the changes arent too bad.. although I am pissed about unlocking those weps 2 weeks
ago when I logged in, never knowing they were intended for this patch... but hey, thats EA for you,
always a day late and a dollar short.. They couldnt do anything right if they tried..

Im not so much upset about the affects of the patch, as I am EAs willingness to cater to a bunch
of kiddie cry babies..

p.s.  KillerYank...   8300 points???? 1.15 K/D ratio ??? dude, I dwarf your stats..and you talkin smack?

I don't really understand why people that are so frustrated with the game still play it. Yes, you paid money for it, but if you paid a hooker (i.e. Linus' mom) $50 for a bj and instead she just kept kneeing you in the nuts, would you sit there and take it?

I have only played infantry with the new patch and the no bunnyhopping/dolphindiving etc makes the infantry combat better.
Now about the other changes:
Grenades can be thrown 2x as far now.
While throwing C4 it looks he want to stick it on himself (not only the MEC)
Support is more powerfull and accurate now while standing and shooting.

New bugs (bugs are created to keep Dice bussy):
Shoot the gunner out of the tank and it still shows +1 on the tank.
Red indicator of something 300m below the ground.
Sound problems (no sound of enemy gunfire),, I have the settings on: High quality now instead of Medium so I hope that will help.

Hopefully today I will get a chance to fly a plane.
And when everyone wants to use the AA guns it will be easy non-moving targets.

Its funny that in Madden you can't tackle peyton manning with a DB but in real life he gets hit by a butterfly and goes down.  Maybe they should change it.  But no, EA wouldn't change Madden because EA has no competition for NFL games.

I hate the changes, personally. The AA missles are rediculous and have completely disposed of my favourite pasttime, Dogfighting. Instead of some idiot jumping around there's now a guy sniping me - with a pkm. (I'm thinking of ditching my g36e and shock paddles and become a dedicated support player instead. Heck, i sniped another sniper with the pkm on Karkand who was 250 meters away.

Haven't played on the new patch yet (out of town which is good because otherwise my wife would have left me for playing all day on valentine's day) but from what I am hearing it should be pretty cool....

Could not stand the bunny hopping caffine addicts, and the incessent plane bombings on wake and a few others took away a lot of the fun.  I am excited to play again, shouldn't be much of a change though, don't think they changed the SCAR-L any which was always my favorite...single shot and take them down fast (unless of course you get a frag in the mouth from a bunny hopping tuber... ) 

Change is good...get used to it...it is a fact of life.

The game was not perfactly good ok. maybe if u were a no tallent flyboy it was perfact. but not for the other 90% of us who play. the only moaning noobs here are the pilots who all of a sudden have to get some skillz or get shot down. your easy ride for a high k/d ratio is over.

let the biggest losers whine. it is pretty obvious they are the ones who had the most to lose and just claim that the people who complained to EA before the patch messed up the game. i think it is better now that the gameplay is balanced between air vehicles and ground troops. the small delay between prone to standing position is not even noticable if you dont abuse it like bunny hoppers. i am glad that all the bunny hoppers and plane whores are coming out of hidding by posting these 1.2 threads.

I've never complained about anything and won't now.

From now, it is not about people who like this patch (like someone said "cry babies", "moaners' etc.) it  is all about people who dislike it. (Now it is you who are "cry babies", "moaners" etc.). There were, there are, and there always will be people who don't like something and who "cries" about it.

So, If you cant get used to the new patch just DONT INSTALL it. Sure there are not too many servers with 1.12 now, but this is the only solution I see (until DICE/EA will release the new patch).

Well there is always an alternative way:
Just quit playing.

Flame me if you want I don't care. I said what I think.
