Deleting program i cant find hah. (file shredder)

so there's some programs that let you delete things and it also earses the memory on your computer for even ever having [w/e] on your computer. It was on some yahoo news report but I can't find it gahh. Thanks karma for help.

Sorry it's not that clear. Ok I'll try to make it more clear hah. So, there's some prgrams out there which I need help finding. The program will delete a file and also earse the memory on your computer of ever having that file.

You could always just delete it and eventually you'll overwrite it (since when you delete stuff it actually just takes off the fist letter and marks it "I can be overwritten").

You mean like, purge the data so it cant ever be found?
