I've read a lot of people complaining about EA producing such a buggy game, then lots of people saying Dice made the game and EA just publish it.
This is true, Dice do make the game, EA publish it.
But.
EA make the deadlines, EA make the money, If EA doesnt get game out on time, EA loses money and shelf space.
Dice probably told EA that the game wasn't finished, but they needed it released on time, so they released it.
I can assure you, Dice probably worked their bollocks off trying to get this game right, their staff probably lived in the office, worked hours of over time without pay and had EA breathing down their necks telling them they need to work more.
Come crunch time, they're probably half dead from working around the clock to get this game out and because it's such a big game, of course their is going to be mistakes.
BLAME EA. NOT DICE.
I had a designer (who'd done Chronicles of Narnia, Mace Griffin, Harry Potter and a few other games) come to my college today and show us design documents ect of the chronicles of narnia and told us the process of how a game goes from concept to finished product.
He also said EA don't really care whether a game is finished or not, if its playable then it will probably get released.
He also said EA is not like any other company, for example, they dont have artists set to a certain game, they have "head artists" who model the heads of characters, hands and feet modellers who model the hand and feet of a character.
as I said.
BLAME EA IF YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH BF2.
