Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions.... I have recently moved house and connected my 360 to a (bigger ) new TV. I can watch DVD's and play ORIGINAL XBOX games on it fine, but when I am on the "dashoboard" or am trying to play a 360 game, everything goes b+w. I have 2 SCART sockets in the back of the TV and both of them play it in b+w, I have tried re-tuning them, and still nothing. It is not an HDTV btw...

Anyone got any ideas? Its difficult playing anything when you cant tell who's on your team....

According to a FAQ on teamxbox.com:

3. What audio and video connections does the Xbox 360 have?

The Xbox 360 has a proprietary A/V connector like the Xbox and a cable adapts this signal to a standard A/V format such as composite, component, S-video, VGA/stereo, and surround sound.
In other words, the adapting might phail at some point. E.g. you might be receiving an S-VHS-signal to RGB -> B/W?

Just a guess, though. Have you tried other connectors?

Connect the 360 leads into your vcr which then connects to the TV.

Thanks Donfck I will try the other connectors. However there are only the SCART calbe connectors and the HDMI cables on the lead. I will have a look when I get home... however I do not have the internets in my house yet, so I will let you know if it works..... later. lulz.  And Aussie- I don't have a vcr to wire it through but ty for the help
