i wore them from 7th to 9th grade. good times were had.
They're not that bad. The metal taste will go away within two days, and I haven't followed their stupid "You can't eat this stuff" rule since day 1 with no problems. You'll be fine.
everytime i go to the dentist they fucking trash on my teeth, and honestly, they arent that bad, a little crowding at the bottom and a tiny gap between the front teeth, it doesnt even bother me, in fact a kind of like the gap. It has never effected me personally, or changed the way people look at me or think of me. Its a fucking scam if you ask me, and it pisses me off that EVERY time i go in they ask me if i want to do the invisline.
You know i've heard that getting a bj with braces feels alot better than the normal one.
as long as they don't make my teeth bleed.
Had them for 4 years. It sucks but you get used to it.
Or a girl with braces was just better at giving head...I really don't see how braces could magically make someone suck dick better.David.P wrote:

My teeth are normal looking to, noone cared. I only did this so that i wouldnt need dentures in old age simply due to erosion from grinding (planning ahead FTW).Locoloki wrote:

lol, try breaking your jaw.
....yeah, it sucks....
I could only eat things I could swallow for 3 months. Lemme tell you, I got damn sick of Speghettio's and scrambled eggs.

I remember when I got braces (3rd grade) that for the first day or so, I could not even eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich because biting the soft fluffy bread felt like biting soft fluffy concrete.
Best of luck to you
Best of luck to you

all i can say is
DONT EAT HARD THINGS!!!! you cant eat apples etc unless they have been pre cut and CHEWY LOLLIES!!! = bad
they only hurt for the first few days, and if you get them adjusted that day and maybe the day after, unless you bite something really hard

Hurts the first couple days and then the pain dies down!!
Be a man.
Be a man.
my dad has had fake teeth due to some rare diesease since he was in highschool, his dentures are perfectly straight and always shiny and you would never know. On those dramatic makeovers on tv, they just rip the teeth out and give em dentures. Its far easier IMON00bkilla55404 wrote:

No, screw that rule. Eat whatever you want. I've eaten peanuts, chips, most of the stuff on the list they gave me of what I specifically wasn't supposed to and ... Nothing happened.Nappy wrote:

I know, I'm such a rebel.
Lol in 2-3 years you'll thank yourself/parents for getting you them.

I never needed braces

Parents got it, but the final say on it was mine. think of it as voluntary torture, like S&M for teeth.bakinacake wrote:

It really sucks the first days,I know. But you will get used to it.
And as Home mentioned above, eat whatever you want the way you want. The "no apples or stuff or the braces will break" rule is bullshit.

Sucks now and for the next year and a half (trust me, it'll increase). But you'll be SO happy you had them. It pays off for the rest of your life. I know SO many people that wish they had just done it and got it over with. It's 1.5 years for the rest ofyour life. You may not realize it now but you made a good choice.
they will only hurt for about 1 week, drink only liquid diets, poached eggs work well, and toast with half a stick of butter melted in it.
soups are the way to go.
i don't mind them actually.
my friend ate a fantale, and one of them came right off. just don't eat toffee-related foods and LOLies.

Except the time mine came off was when I bit on a fork by accident. There was a twang, and it was off.
You'll get used to them. I did.
It only hurts when they tighten them.
