Well today been a bad day untill my last round. BF2 kept crashin when i was commander, when i was the best player on the map or i was not even abble to get in the game cuz BF2 was crashing to my desktop.
I went eating, came back and give it a last run for the night. So i get on Wake Island, apply commander of USMC...get it ...start playing, decide to go protect my artilery, so i drive to the little artilery island.
Sit in the AA and start commanding my troops, they done a great job kept advancing but slowly. shut down a few planes and 2 choppers with the AA(way more easier now) and keep striking the artilery
No where...i received my Air Defence Ribbon , which i dont understand since i only destroyed 7 jets/choppers and its 11 kills are required.
Oh well...keep commanding, then received my veteran engineer combat badge! LOL!! i never shot anyone!!
Finally got a smile from playing BF2, then i received a promotion to staff sergeant!!! And finish the round with a gold medal!
all that without BF2 crashing. Back in love with BF2 lol untill 2morrow when its gonna start crashing again.
Now i came with with the conclusion that if i received the ribbon and badge its because when u strike the artilery and killed the ennemy with, the kills are registered (NOT on the player score) and i guess while i was sitting in the AA and strike the artilery, well it registered as AA kills AND! as engineer kills too.
