It honestly seems to be loved by most gamers. It's stable, comfortable and affordable, while being accurate and fast.
Even though the newer ones are better, people still tend to go for the MX518, I believe that is one of the reasons its still being sold by Logitech.
i know alot of people who swear by taht and the g5, but i got a friend who loves his g9 and i have talked to a few who protect their lachesis with their life
