Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C5 TwinX (2x1GB)

I am putting the ram in my old pc and selling it to my friend.

So I will need ram for my pc.

I bought some OCZ 8500 last month but I had constant crashes so I want to get the ram I have right now... which is on sale for £40.

Should I get the ram I have right now?

OCZ never does wrong. You could go for the same ones you tried last time WF, and I am pretty sure they wouldn't crash it again.

If it does it's your PC not the RAM then.

You under powered it by 0.2v if you're right in saying you set it at 2.1v.

So might of been something wrong with the RAM?

Should I go for some 8500 stuff then?

Will the 8500 RAM be noticeably faster than 6400?

Should be very noticable, and I'd always say buy the fastest you can afford.

Cheers for help, I can't imagine PC being faster, As everything is instant really.

Hope it doesn't crash again or I will be without a PC for over a week as slow delivery times up in Scotland. That's why I'm hesitant.
