"...movimento annuo della Terra..." - Galileo
My math teacher says that these simple four (Italian or Latin) words were either the start of science or had a lasting impact on science (can't remember which). If I write a paper about how, I'll get extra credit. And I need it.
What I got out of it is "annual movement of the Earth"
I tried Googling it, but to no avail. Could someone help elaborate?
Thanks.
