actually I didn't make the computer at all. It's a new one I ordered several weeks ago and that I got friday. According to what I can see on the bill (cause it's written on it), the computer passed all tests so... gonna call a guy I know about it. I'll see what he can tell me. Maybe then a problem with drivers or something I'm honestly not sure of anything anymore.
*edit* I did forgot to mention what happens exactly. I can play 5 mins a game, then it stuck suddenly and 2 sec later I have a bluescreen saying that window had to shut down (the computer doesn't lemme the time to read more since it reboots like 5 sec later)
You might want to install all the available Vista 64 updates, I think. There are a lot of Vista updates available for gaming & video issues regarding compatibility (true for 32 and this is also true for 64 bit).
What kind of video board do you use ATI or Nvidia?
ATI (64 bit drivers found here):
http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/vist … sta64.htmlNvidia (signed drivers) found here:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-usVista hotfix issues found here:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/windows_vi … fixes.html(Install them all, if the hotfix doesn't apply it will tell you when you install it)
Your mainboard chipset may need updating drivers as well.
Nvidia (nforce chipset drivers) found on the same page as video drivers:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-usFor Intel chipset drivers you'll have to navigate this site:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/default … t_DownloadAnyways.. I believe you when you say your computer is crashing. Why would you lie? That's a rhetorical question. Also right out the box, fresh install, etc, direct from a manufacturer/computer assembler - I have received computers that crash due to improper; or wrong; driver installations.
Enzzenmachine, your best bet when trouble shooting a (hardware/OS crash) problem is to try everything/anything you can think of. I would go ahead and check the drivers. Your not the only one to have Issues with games on Vista (32 bit and 64 bit).
Example (non-game): On one CADD machine I had, every program, I own, would work except the CADD program - the one I needed most. It was a incorrect chipset driver for the DMA controller that was causing the problem. After tracking down the correct driver (that was not on the re-seller/assembler's website) and installing - the memory errors in the CADD program stopped and I never had my CADD program crash ever again.

They last thing I can think of is drivers for your sound-card or on mainboard sound?
You'll need to find out what you're using... or I mean what is on your mainboard if your using a built-on board sound-chipset. From my experience I've had the most problems with crashing do to poorly written sound-drivers.

I just did a clean install of Vista 64 and did what I am suggesting you should do.

PS: I reinstalled Crysis and the 64 bit DX10 ".EXE" runs 10-15% slower than the 32bit Version of Crysis in DX9 (and it looks the same, except clouds). Both running under Vista 64 bit. Makes you wonder? Whats the point of DX10 beyond better looking volumetric clouds, smoke, etc? A slower rendering pathway? Lame, fuck, LOL,
