DirectX handles more than graphics. Goto start, search/run (however you have it setup), then, type dxdiag and hit enter, what happens?Enzzenmachine wrote:

there is something I still don't understand. When I use "search" in order to find any DirectX files or docs about it on my computer, it says that there is nothing so then technically, according to this I don't have any DirectX installed. What is curious is that I installed cod and uo and it asks at the end if you wanna install directX 9 and I remember saying "yes" but it still didn't do it apparently. And finally one of cod requirements in order to get it working well is to get directX 9... so wth?
side note: You will find more knowledge on this forum than 1 friend can muster
