COD 4 Player Profile after an uninstall

i think this has been psoted before but i dont have time to look (sorry) im in a rush to reformat!

How do i get all my stats back after to a reformat??
Is it totall from the CD key or wot other ways do i need to enter my things after the reinstall to get all my data back?! thanks!!

backup your "mpdata" in /COD4/players/profiles/NAME

afterwards just create a new profile in COD4 with the same name and copy the mpdata file back

format has completed and went well apart from a few blue screens of death, all is now good lol
