I have just got special forces and wanted to know if it was possible to teamkill by firing a zipline at a player, also i want peoples opinions of taxtical weaponary.

nope. you cannot kill someone with a zipline. pretty weird considering its a high powered crossbow capable of fireing a 10 pound harpoon 30 feet. its a shame, i really wanted to crossbow someone in the face. oh well
ive tried killing people with it so many times, but never have. its wierd though because my stats on bf2stats say i have 2 deaths from the zipline. you would think something like getting killed with a zipline would stand out in your mind, but i dont remember that happeneing at all. maybe if you have a deployed zipline, and a member of the opposing team starts to use it you can take the zipline back causing him to fall to his death from your zipline?

I think you can kill with it, its just not very strong. I got damaged once when a teammate shot me with it.
the stats your reading tell how many times you were killed when using that gun or peice of equipment ... so the 2 deaths for zipline means you were killed (with a gun/c4/whatever) twice while using the zipline.ROTOFOO wrote:

great thanks for the info but 1 more question, i've played the game many times but i am unsure what unlocks i should get when special forces id like the G36E the G3 and the F2000 but that leaves 1 unlock any suggestions im either goig with the MG36 or the DAO-12 any recommendations greatly appreciated, oh and by the way can u control the fork on the fork lift truck?

Yeah, the reason for that is because, you get a death for that "weapon", if it is in you hands when you die.ROTOFOO wrote:

I found that out when I was running at a tank trying to scroll down for my C4 and went past it to end up with the zip-line. Needless to say, that didn't hurt the tank like the C4 would have. So the tank picked me off like nothing. I called it a night checked my stats, and there it was. Got several more since the same way.
Oh well.
I'd say definately the DAO! The PKM is a lot better than the MG-36 IMO, and the DAO is so awsome in close quarters and is so much fun to use too!icewarrior2005 wrote:

I haven't done this yet, but a friend of mine says that he has gotten a kill when sliding on the zipline, and running into an enemy player. I think it is the same as if you were to fall on someone from a height. They take the impact & you get a kill.

I don't think that is true, I sometimes take an enemy soldier for a 30 meter drive on the hood of my car before he jumps off and runs away.
Nope, can't kill, no matter how hard I tried. But your Deaths come when someone kills you off it. Another persons rumor: Or try throwing a grenade (hopefully it hits someone) and you'll probably see a Kill on there, I'm not sure, but someone said that on another forum, I have yet to try that one.
Does it really matter? come on just play the game!
