i remember playing it on pc circa 1996. it was a time travel game, and i remember in the beginning you go inside this grandfather clock like inside a hotel or something. i hope someone knows what i'm talking about.

And I remember playing Day of the Tentacle on an old "iCompaq" computer with Windows 95 and an 133MHz CPU. Lovely game.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity.
