Hey everyone...I know this game still has atleast one more season in it if we would all help out and get some players from pub communities. Today me and a friend made mIRC channels to make it easy and simple to get ringers and scrims for BF2. I know loads of people are looking to ring or 5v5 and cant find each other so this is how we can make it easier and put some life back into BF2

Download mIRC at http://mirc.com/

Install and go to http://gamesurge.net/ and register you an account if you would like to get special access to IRC channels. If you dont feel like registering then just load up mIRC and go to mIRC options (should be the icon with the hammer on it) and fill out you name email and nickname. After that go to "Servers" in the options menu, and scroll to the G section and find "Gamesurge", Double Click and choose Random Server...(NOT RANDOM EU SERVER)

After you've done this you soooo close to finding a scrim! Go to Options tab under servers and find the little tab that says "Perform" Open it up and it shuld be a mini notepad and you should Copy and Paste the following --

(if you registered with gamesurge and recieved the email then you can use the authserv auth line to let GS know who you are.)

By the way #it! is my teams channel find me in there for help or if you want to help us out.

now after youve done this go to the top above the notepad thingy and checkbox "Enable Perform at startup" this will make it perform those channels so you dont have to go through crap to get in the channels.

If you need help please add me to xfire - visi0nn and I will be glad to help you out! and remember the more idlers we get in the channels the more twl will want to have another season of bf2 5v5... :]

sux2bintheUSA. australias now entering its 5th season of a 16vs16 BF2 ladder, with at least 18 teams still left competing after almost 3 years.

no wonder competitve BF2 has died everywhere else, i cant think of ANYTHING more boring than a 5vs5 ladder (i know it would be a far more higher skilled ladder, but doesnt change the fact 3 years of 5vs5 would make you brain dead)

why not try and make something interesting like at least a 12vs12, maybe THEN youd be able to breathe a little more life into bf2, 5vs5 ladders are as good as dead.

blackhawk lol not remember when i used to play a long time ago back when we were both nothing lol, you got me into inf lol, i was the apc driver for my old clan lol, then i went to heli gunner then i flew jets when they needed it as i liked it. I know its boring as fuck if your an AT guy thats why you use teamwork and man the jeeps lol rush around the flags.

You have to learn the rules of the game and then you have to play better than anyone else.

I have done it you know lol 4 at guys works on city maps and on air maps everyone should be in aa or tanks.

teamwork makes everything fun. A nicely aimed AT rocket to an enemy infantry face always gets be excited. Being a medic reviveing 50 people in a and keeping your teams offence going is a blast.
