Used to love F1, but in the past couple of season (about 10) its more like watching 20 cars drive around a track then watching a race.
Technology killed what it created.

that's why some of tech got the boot again.DrunkFace wrote:

Ferrari fan myself since ages.
(no I don't got tickets for the night race, you got 1500 euros for the journey? )
I'll watch it on TV no doubt. Hamilton revived the sport for me. Although I hate how the media loves him so much. British media and their optimisim makes me want to root for them less.

It's gonna be an awesome season though. 3 street races. One of them at night.
Got my tickets yet?

Singapore will rock, no doubt in my mind, any race...any, thats "good" in the daylight, is twice as good at night.Mek-Izzle wrote:

QFT. Hamilton is gonna win this year, last year he was incredibly unluckyMek-Izzle wrote:

Agreed, he got a bad deal at the last minute. I was cheering for him to take the title, and I'm a Ferrari fan.kptk92 wrote:

I hope he can do well this year and proove he isnt a one year wonder. I gotta say tho, those Ferrari's are looking very strong.
I also have to mention Ross Brawn migrating to Honda...that team will improove radicly over its performance last year. All things being equal I expect Honda to be a threat in 09'.
Last year I supported Hamilton, but got strangely happy when his car screwed up and Raikkonen took the title.
BMW Sauber FTW. Those dudes are badass.
*salutes Nick Heidfeld and can't-remember-the-other-guy's-name*

The man had his feet dangling out of his car in that one crash and pwned (relatively) the moment he got back.
Hamilton/Kovalainen > Raikkonen/Massa k?
That crash looked so bad.Tetrino wrote:

I really hope that BMW can have their first win.

No traction control is good and all, but the main problem is aerodynamics and down force. Because so much is dependant on the cars aerodynamics they need to run in 'clean' air to maintain the highest velocity and stability, which discourages racing and encourages pitting people so they can drive on an open road. Bring back the days where you use good old fashion grip and driving up some ones backside didn't effect your car too much.^*AlphA*^ wrote:

Yes, as much as NASCAR (okay...not as much)
My brother is off to Barcelona this year as an official photographer (he even gets a little badge) - it's his first official photograph job and cost him next to nothing. Exclusive access to the pitlane and other areas out of bound to most others. I'm much jealous. He's even off to Le Mans and I have my pesky GCSEs this year.
Can't wait to see how both Alonso and Hamilton do!

Tickets are real expensive and the track is freaking short, i personally drove there and i dont see anything special except that its at night;P
This will be Toyotas last season if the team doesn't do considerably better that the previous seasons, will be interesting to follow them seeing as i work with Toyota.
Have been to 3 races and visited the Toyota formula 1 plant in Germany twice.

WilliamsF1 rock tbh
I think its like boxing, ie, it hasn't been as good for about 5+ years now as what it used to be so heres hoping for a good season right down to the wire, hopefully Hamilton wins as not only is he British but every young up and coming sportsman/woman should carry the same attitude as him as many young kids idolise him.
