Simple question, what do you percieve to be the best torrent downloading software?
Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.
I had a bit of port issues on the last built of uTorrent but the new one has cleared it up for me - perhaps it is worth a try?Freezer7Pro wrote:
I use BitComet 0.84. It's about as simple as it gets. Download, install, download. I've tried other clients, but they won't work due to my ISP having fucked up the firmware of their routers, to disable port forwarding. It's fucking gay.
Nah, I don't really have a need for a new client. BitComet works great for me, and I'm really used to it. Besides, I get maximum "speed" out of it anyhow.kylef wrote:

Same, I used to use Azureus. I still like Azureus, but utorrent downloads faster.kylef wrote:
I'm an ex-Azureus now uTorrent user. I find uTorrent very simple and effective. Also, after a little bit of customizing it is now very simple - which I love. Give it a tree - it's free!
µTorrent has encryption built in, it's great because as a lot of people know Comcast is one of the ISPs that tries to block torrent traffic purposely and with this I can actually get some stuff done.xRBLx wrote:
Does any one know of a good one that has download encryption because I dont want my ISP seeing what I download, plus the goverment to doing the three strikes thing here in England starting tomorrow. :S
Yea, I use both.PBAsydney wrote:
