Ok, that's what I've narrowed it down to.

My budget is below £100, but I'd hate to pay that much for one... £80 most preferably but if I really see the need, I may spend £100.

I'd prefer it ATX but if there's aan ok MATX one, then fine.

My other parts are:

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0-GHz
7600GT (so PCI-E port needed)
DDR2 RAM 2GB

I need at least one IDE port, too.

Hopefully that link works for you... I'd really appreciate the help here, and know I'll get loads from you lot

So thanks in advance, and advise me well

One of the best mobos around.
Yup, can't go wrong with the P35. The X38 is a good choice as well.

X38 is too expensive for my budget...

It's hard to find a decent motherboard that doesn't have at least one IDE, as that still dominates the optical drive market.

I have an Asus P5K, it's awesome. Got my 4300 overclocked to 3.0 ghz without trouble, 667mhz ram running at 800, northbridge doesnt get hot, works flawlessly.

This was my old one, is there nothing on the link I provided that would be good to just replace that and do it's job? This isn't really un upgrade, it's a replacement for my broken motherboard.
