Im most likely opening myself up to get completely flamed for this, but oh well such is life.
Why is it that some people call other people of any lower rank a n00b/newb/noob. Ive had this game since june and while im not the greatest at it (as reflected in my stats) i dont think im the worst either. but I guess since I have a job(military), a wife(who might i add doesnt really care for this game but shes gonna have to deal with it since i enjoy it) and i cant really spend 6+ hours on the game a day, im still considered a newbie. most of the time i get called this by some teen aged pencil necked pimple faced kid with translucent skin since they never see the outside world. whose mommy and daddy spent the money on a fancy computer and game to keep them out of theyre hair. maybe mommy and daddy doesnt spend enough time with them or hug them enough. or they never really had a girl/boyfriend(gotta be PC nowadays wouldnt want to offend anyone) and have given up on finding one to spend the rest of theyre life with theyre only friend in life (BF2). but since im under the 30grand range in points im a newbie.
Then i have someone who has never been outside the states tell me that i need to treat this like a real battle. well i hate to say it but this will never be treated like a real battle. Ive been over to the giant sandbox in the middle east 4 times since 9/11 and ive never seen red name tags over the enemies heads or a countdown timer till the battle starts. or people chucking c-4 over a fence. most of the time tanks are on a seperate battlefield and cobras take out tanks at over a mile, planes fly at over 600 ft, and spec ops guys are rarely ever seen except to get behind enemy lines and blow up enemy assets. let alone the chaotic mess at the start of the round of everybody charge forward without any real plan except kill kill kill take flag and no use of tactics to get there just throw bullets in that direction.
Damn the world just pisses me off sometimes.
