I have just setup internet sharing between two (both online) computers and now when i try to start up my profile on BF2 the screen says "CONNECTING TO ACCOUNT SERVER" and it doesn't get past this screen.

I waited about 20 minutes for it and it still isn't connecting after that amount of time.
I am using a ADSL router and AOL.

Please, please i really need some help on this.

Lol, but you shouldn't be nasty

You say you started "Internet Connection Sharing"

You don't start ICS if you are using a router, ICS is for connecting 2 PC's to the net when you don't have a router. One computer connects to the Modem directly and you use a cross-over cable to connect pc2 to pc1

With a router you "SET UP A HOME/SMALL BUSINESS NETWORK" if you want to share files and printers etc
You dont have to do anything to get them both on the internet

So your AOL MODEM plugs into the ROUTER
Then you have 2 ethernet cables, one for each pc correct?

Does the internet work on both NOW ??

If so you may need to configure your router for some ports to let BF2 connect
The ports needed are in the BF2 Manual, page 18
Refer to your Router Manual on how to put them in (port forwarding)

Have you made sure any software firewalls you are using are allowing BF2 to connect ?

MORE INFO MIGHT BE GOOD, KIND OF ROUTER ETC

i didn't mean ICS (Internet connection sharing) i just meant sharing the internet in general.
